Are You Lonely? Hello. Judging by the fact that you read my title you are feeling lonely. I am to. Ive been alone for along time. Ive been alone because everytime I open my heart to someone they break it. Ive been lied to cheated on and used. Im done with that and not gonna do it again nor will I do it to someone else. I'm intelligent, handsome, goal oriented, selfless and sincere. I enjoy movies, sports, boardgames, video games, reading, and extreme sports such as snowboarding, kayacking, skydiving and scuba diving. Im able to hold a conversation and know how to treat a lady. Well you see what I look like in the . I know it isn't very , but my appearance is the way I cultivated it over the years. So if you aren't running away screaming yet, maybe you will dig what I'm all about. I'm a car guy with an emphasis on old fast cars, jeeps, and custom vans. They make up my major priorities after air, water, food. I'm also a bit of a wanderer. I've visited 47 states and lived in 5 and hope to visit other continents. Hippy festivals like hookahville were a good part of my life. Now I'm going to - which is a whole other crazy crowd. I'm also a fan of simple outdoor living(I stayed in a hut in the rainforest for over 2 years and loved it). I am and have always been a reefer head. I love any activity on the water aside for fishing(too damn boring), but boats, canoes, swimming, surfing, and diving. My only real foray into pop-culture, is a love of comics, , and rockn'roll music. I'm not a big texter, Iphoner, or facebooker. Just not my thing. So I have a job, vehicles, rental house. I'm hoping to get back into my career trucking and but a house of my own in the coming year. So what am I looking for? You silly, duh! Well being a redhead it would be awesome to find another. But not required, uniqueness is more important to me than looking "hot" or whatever. Actually funky is always hot. Open mindedness is also important, I'm not into people that fear other cultures, or even other worlds. If your an alien of anykind (reptile, grey, whatever)that would be awesome. A love of travel is a big plus for ya. I prefer a non-tobacco user, drinking is cool but I don't do it very much. Short term: I'm looking for a companion to go to - (custom camp parties), drive- , maybe some other outdoor activities, and some indoor activities aswell if we are into each other ya know! Long-term: I wanna buy a cheap house outside of town, fix it up, pay it off and setup our lives in a manner that affords us months of free time each year to travel. My ultimate dream is to live half the year here and half the year in maui or wherever. I'm not really interested in having for a while at least until I have the means to give them a good life. I'm in the best phase of my life-everything is as it should be for being 45 years old! I'm not bored, I'm not even a boring woman- in fact, I am quite the opposite. I smile all the time and feel great in the skin I'm in. I'm good with where life has taken me to get to this point. But, and isn't there always a "but" in life, why is it that I have this gnawing feeling in the back of my mind that leaves me feeling like something is missing? I can't put my finger on it and I have tried to figure it all out by trying all sorts of ways to fill the void. I wonder though...Are we supposed to have a void somewhere in our life? Is it supposed to be there to remind us of something or is it there to get us in trouble? Do we ignore it? Take a class? Buy a new book? I realize that I'm sort of talking to myself out loud. And I also know that I may not ever find out what the void is and have to face the fact that it may go unfulfilled forever. In all honesty, I do know that part of the head scratching I"m doing over why I feel a void might have something to do with feeling as if it might be nice to find someone that can understand....to have a conversation with someone new and of the opposite sex. I haven't done that in well over 19 years. Is flirting, finding common interests, laughing at new stories only reserved for those that aren't married? Okey dokey- enough said...maybe too much said....maybe I didn't even get across to you what I really meant to say...good grief if only this were easier to put in to words! Ok-back to work...Yes work will make me forget...( I really do have a great sense of humor about life and myself)
